When we gather to hear the stories of other women, the common, unexplainable, gut wrenching & love filled stories, of other women; who like us are battling the shoulds, trying to do it all, and often feel like a hot mess, something special happens. There is a deepness felt and richness gained that is hard to put your finger on. Their courage to be vulnerable inspires us… binds us.  If you have ever gathered with women – in a truly authentic way, be it over a glass of wine, your kid’s playdate, or paint canvases – you know what we mean.

Wise women gather

A night out, a night to feel unencumbered by the to-do lists of life, we gather to tap into the power created when women connect in the most authentic way…through the shared experience of our lives. Women posses a beautiful gift, a superpower, we find strength within ourselves when we lift other women up…doing for her what we often don’t do for ourselves. Being present when a woman feels seen and heard raises her up and allows us to own our story and reconnect to our power.
Join our hosts, Dionne Thomson of In Her Element (Midland, ON)  and Leanne Quesnelle of Truth Connection Holistic Coaching (Barrie, ON) who both believe in, and have personally experienced, the power of storytelling. In their homes they will graciously and masterfully facilitate the evening making it a positive & supportive environment for everyone (including fellow introverts). Come, listen and explore the stories of strength and vulnerability shared by preselected speakers and leave with new insights and feeling inspired!

The power of story What we give &

what we recieve

Stories are amazing and powerful because they can resonate with people depending on their needs and experiences and speak truths we need to hear in that moment in time.
~Sue Monk Kidd~

Stories are very healing and we benefit from getting the opportunity to pass on our wisdom to others. This is especially powerful for those of us who do not always feel that we have the chance to be heard. Our sense of connection and belonging is strengthened when we tell and when we hear stories…we recognize that we are all experts in our own lives and that each of us is doing the best we can with what we have…absolutely liberating!
